Scree Painter

Scree Painter generates scree patterns for topographic maps. It fills polygons with scree stones for Swiss-style maps of mountainous areas.

Scree Painter is free open source software by Bernhard Jenny, RMIT University, Melbourne.

The first versions of Scree Painter were developed at the Institute of Cartography and Geoinformation of ETH Zurich, for the Swiss Federal Office of Topography swisstopo.

You can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License version 2 as published by the Free Software Foundation.
